Biography

2014: Perry was the veteran pitcher on this Aces squad. In 2014 the senior appeared in 14 games, making six starts and allowing only 17 walks in 28.0 innings. Perry also struck out 29 batters during her senior year. The senior also made five appearances at the plate, hitting a double and driving in 2 RBIs, leading to a .600 slugging percentage.

2013: Taylor appeared on the mound 11 times during the 2013 season and had 4 starts..Taylor was having an outstanding season having an ERA of 2.60, 28 strikeouts on 35.0 innings and a win-loss record of 2-1 before getting injured early on in the season...Perry will look to bounce back as the Aces top pitcher during her senior year....

2012: Appeared in 24 games for the Aces at the mound and started 13…recorded 89.2 innings pitched and notched 52 strikeouts…went 6-8 in the circle and ended the season with a 3.67 ERA…had just three complete-games for the Aces…tallied 7 putouts, including career-high 3 against Missouri State.

2011: Stepped up to lead the pitching staff in the second half of the season…ended the season ranked 79th in the nation with 1.89 walks per seven innings… ended with a team-best 4.20 ERA in 111.1 innings of work… struck out a team-high 68 batters…notched a save against Indiana State, allowing just one hit in 3.0 innings of scoreless relief… fanned a career-high 10 batters versus Illinois State…tossed a complete-game shutout over Southern Illinois… made six complete-game appearances on the season…went 1-for-2 with her first collegiate home run against UT-Chattanooga on the opening day of the season.

Background: Lettered four years for the Bulldogs…first-team all-state, all-conference and all-district in 2009 and 2010…named Conference MVP in 2010…pitched a perfect game to clinch the co-champion spot in conference for the first time in school history…named Lakeshore Public T.V. and Time Athlete of the Week…also lettered two years in volleyball…earned High Honor Roll and Scholar-Athlete…member of National Honor Society... daughter of Dale and Linda Perry…has a sister, Courtney, who plays basketball at Southern Indiana…relative, Kristin Houck, played basketball at Marion College…majoring in neuroscience
