Spring 2021 (Outdoor):
- Competed in all six of UE’s outdoor meets in the spring.
- Set a personal-best mark in the hammer throw with a toss of 38.61 meters (126’8”) at the Pacesetter Invitational (5/7/21).
- Also set a new personal-best distance in the discus with a throw of 39.25 meters (128’9”) at the Kentucky Wesleyan Twilight Invitational (4/2/21).
- Recorded his season-best shot put throw of 13.09 meters (42’11.5”) at the MVC Outdoor Championships (5/14-16/21).
- Best individual finish of the spring was third in the shot put (12.97 meters | 42’6.75”) at the Bill Smith Challenge (3/27/21).
Winter 2021 (Indoor):
- Threw shot and competed in the weight throw in UE’s first two indoor meets of the COVID-shortened winter season.
- Recorded his best shot put of the indoor season at the John Gartland Invitational (1/23/21) with a distance of 13.00 meters (42’8”).
- Also threw 10.52 meters (34’6.25”) in the weight throw at the John Gartland Invitational.
- Best individual finish of the indoor season was 12th in the shot put at the EIU Friday Night Special (11.85 meters – 38’10.5” – 2/19/21).
Spring 2020 (Outdoor):
- Outdoor season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Winter 2020 (Indoor):
- Threw in all five of UE’s indoor meets as a sophomore.
- Recorded a personal-best throw of 12.81 meters (42’0.5”) in the weight throw at the Marshall Invitational (2/7-8/20).
- Best individual finish was sixth in the weight throw at the Marshall Invitational.
- Threw a season-best mark of 13.00 meters (42’8”) at the MVC Indoor Championships (2/29-3/1/20).
Spring 2019 (Outdoor):
- Competed in all six of UE’s outdoor meets as a freshman.
- Finished third in the shot put with a personal-best throw of 13.28 meters (43’7”) at the Kentucky Wesleyan Twilight Invitational (4/5/19).
- Recorded his best discus throw of the spring at the MVC Outdoor Championships (5/10-12/19) with a mark of 38.65 meters (126’10”).
- Also posted his best hammer throw of the year at the MVC Outdoor Championships with a throw of 34.76 meters (114’0”).
- Finished a season-best second place in the shot put (11.66 meters | 38’3.25”) at the Stan Lyons Invitational (3/16/19).
Winter 2019 (Indoor):
- Threw shot and weight in all five of UE’s indoor meets.
- Best shot put mark of the indoor season was 12.60 meters (41’4.25”) in his first collegiate meet at the Indianapolis Season Opener (12/1/18).
- Best weight throw distance was 12.11 meters (39’8.75”) at the EIU Friday Night Special (2/15/19).
- Best individual finish of the winter was 10th in the weight throw (10.59 meters | 34’9”) at the Mastodon Invitational (1/19/19).
Personal:
- Majoring in Accounting at UE.
- A three-sport athlete at Forest Park High School in Ferdinand, Indiana, where he earned three letters in football and track, along with two in wrestling.
- A state finalist in the shot put as both a junior (2017) and senior (2018) in high school.
- Also a state finalist in the indoor shot put both years.
- Sectional champion in both the shot put and discus in 2018.
- His father, Keith, played soccer at East Central College (1989-90), while his brother, Aaron, was a sprinter at Wabash College (2013-17).
- Chose UE because “it felt like home on my first visit when I spoke to coach. I liked the small campus and I knew some members of the team.”
