Spring 2021 (Outdoor at Tusculum University):
Competed two years in track and field at Tusculum University in Greeneville, Tennessee prior to coming to UE.
- Competed in four of Tusculum’s five outdoor meets as a sophomore.
- A key part of Tusculum’s 4x100-meter relay team which finished in the top five at every meet in which he competed.
- Ran a college-best 200-meter time of 22.69 at the Catamount Classic (4/16-17-21).
- Also ran 22.77 in the 200-meters at the Montreat College Invitational (3/26-27/21).
- Finished fifth in the 100-meters in a college-best time of 11.12 at the LR Bears Open (3/21/21).
- Competed in both the 4x100 and 4x400-meter relays at the LR Bears Open.
Winter 2021 (Indoor at Tusculum University):
- Competed in three of Tusculum’s five indoor meets.
- Ran a personal-best time of 7.14 in the 60-meter dash at the VMI Winter Relays (1/29-30/21).
- Competed in three 60-meter events, and did not post a time slower than 7.17 all winter.
- Posted a college-best long jump mark of 5.44 meters (17’10.25”) at the VMI Winter Relays (1/29-30/21).
- Ran an indoor-best 200-meter time of 23.18 at the KMS Invitational (1/24/21).
Spring 2020 (Outdoor at Tusculum University):
- Outdoor season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Winter 2020 (Indoor at Tusculum University):
- Competed in all six of Tusculum’s indoor meets as a freshman.
- Best individual finish was 11th out of 44 competitors in the 60-meter dash at the Camel City Invitational (2/7-8/20) with a time of 7.23.
- Ran a season-best 60-meter time of 7.16 at the USC Indoor Open (2/22/20).
- His best long jump distance of the year was 5.34 meters (17’6.25”) at the South Atlantic Indoor Championships (2/29-3/1/20).
Personal:
- Majoring in Exercise Science at UE.
- Ran track and field at St. Mary High School in Jamaica.
- Eastern regional champion and record holder in the Class 1 boys 100-meters and 4x100-meter relay.
- A long jump finalist.
- Posted a personal-best 100-meter time of 10.83 in high school.
- Also ran 22 seconds in the 200-meters in high school.
- His best long jump mark in high school was 6.53 meters (21’5”).
- His father, Lewin, was a national representative on Jamaica’s youth soccer team.
- Chose UE because of the “excellent academic reputation.”
