2016: Freshman participated in three races in 2016…Set his 8K PR in the season-opening EIU Walt Crawford Open where he ran a 32:02.69...completed the Greater Louisville Classic in 32:35.69.

Prior to UE: Personal best 5K time of 18:05 came as a senior in 2015.

Personal: Son of Michael and Jillene Newby…comes to UE from Eminence, Ind. where attended Eminence High School.
