Spring 2021 (Outdoor):
- Earned all-Missouri Valley Conference honors in the javelin.
- Also garnered MVC Scholar-Athlete Team honors for his work both in the field and in the classroom.
- Finished second in the javelin at the MVC Outdoor Championships (5/14-16/21) with a school-record throw of 57.01 meters (187’0”).
- Made history becoming the first UE male athlete to earn all-MVC honors in the sport of track and field.
- Also finished second in the javelin at the Bill Smith Challenge (3/27/21) with a throw of 49.39 meters (162’0”).
- Finished in the top five of all five outdoor meets in which he competed in the javelin.
- In the only outdoor meet which he did not throw the javelin, he recorded a personal-best mark in the discus at the Kentucky Wesleyan Twilight Invitational (38.57 meters | 126’6” – 4/2/21).
Winter 2021 (Indoor):
- Competed in two of UE’s three indoor meets as a junior.
- Recorded a distance of 11.79 meters (38’8.25”) in the shot put at the EIU Friday Night Special (2/19/21).
- Finished seventh in the 60-meter hurdles at the John Gartland Invtational (1/23/21) with a time of 9.96.
Spring 2020 (Outdoor):
- Outdoor season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Winter 2020 (Indoor):
- Set a personal-best score of 3,619 in the heptathlon at the MVC Indoor Championships (2/29-3/1/20).
- Established personal-best marks in the long jump (5.72 meters | 18’9.25”), high jump (1.66 meters | 5’5.25”) and 60-meter dash (7.74) during the MVC’s heptathlon.
- Finished third in the pole vault at the Marshall Invitational (2/7-8/20) with a personal-best height of 3.50 meters (11’5.75”).
- Set a personal-best mark in the shot put with a throw of 12.15 meters (39’10.5”) to win the shot put portion of the heptathlon at the John Gartland Invitational (1/24-25/20).
Spring 2019 (Outdoor):
- Finished fourth among MVC freshmen and 15th overall in the javelin at the MVC Outdoor Championships (41.30 meters | 135’6” – 5/10-12/19).
- Won the javelin competition at the Bellarmine Classic (4/13/19) with a then-school-record throw of 45.62 meters (149’8”).
- Raised the school record to a mark of 46.00 meters (150’11”) in the javelin at the Lenny Lyles-Clark Wood Invitational (4/26-27/19).
- Set personal-best marks in both the 110-meter hurdles (16.96) and the 400-meter hurdles (1:08.43) at the Kentucky Wesleyan Twilight Invitational (4/5/19).
Winter 2019 (Indoor):
- Competed in all five of UE’s indoor meets as a freshman.
- Placed 10th in the heptathlon with a score of 3,529 at the MVC Indoor Championships (2/23-24/19).
- Set personal-best marks in both the 60-meter hurdles (9.19) and 400-meters (59.48) at the EIU Friday Night Special (2/15/19).
- Best individual finish of the indoor season was ninth in the 60-meter hurdles (9.48) at the Mastodon Invitational.
Personal:
- Majoring in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at UE.
- Lettered four years in track and field, three years in basketball, two in football, and one in cross country at Mattoon High School in Illinois.
- Inducted in the Mattoon High School Hall of Fame in 2019.
- Earned the 2017 Craig Milam Award, given to Mattoon High School’s Male Outstanding Athlete.
- His father, Mark, ran track and field at Eastern Illinois.
- Chose UE because of “the highly respected business school and a chance to pioneer a Division I track team.”
