Biography
2015-16: Averaged 7.8 points and 3.7 rebounds per game as a senior…was one of the top shooters in the Valley, shooting 51.4% overall and 52.5% from long range…was also an 83.3% free throw shooter…had the best night of his career at Arkansas, registering 21 points on a perfect 8-for-8 game from the field while hitting all five free throws…helped UE to a Wooden Legacy win over UC Irvine as he set his career mark with 10 rebounds while scoring nine points; he also had 5 assists, 2 blocks and a steal…knocked down 6 of his 7 attempts to score 15 points in road win at Missouri State.
2014-15: Made 25 starts while playing in 30 games as a junior at UE…earned a spot on the CIT All-Tournament Team as the Aces won the tournament championship…averaged 7.5 points and 3.8 rebounds…missed six games due to injury…had a strong start to the season as he scored 10 points in the season-opening win over Earlham…had 10 once again versus Green Bay...played career-high 42 minutes as the Aces earned an overtime win over Ohio U…missed six games due to injury before returning in home game versus Wichita State…his next four games saw him average 10 points per game as UE went 3-1…had an accurate 5-of-7 day from the floor and knocked down five of his six free throws at Drake…totaled a season-high 17 points in home triumph over Missouri State, hit 7 out of 8 free throws…nearly led UE to a Senior Day win over Illinois State at home, posting 15 tallies while hitting 11 of his 12 free throw attempts…in five CIT games, he hit 64.7% (22/34) of his attempts from the field…was a stellar free throw shooter, from mid-December through the end of the season, he hit 46 out of 53 attempts, 86.8%...hit all five attempts for 11 point in win at Louisiana…knocked down 8 out of 10 attempts for 16 points as the Aces defeated UT Martin to advance to the CIT finals.
2013-14: Started all 33 games as a sophomore...scored in double figures in four of the first five games as UE started 5-0...set what was then a career-best with 15 points on 6-8 shooting against Martin Methodist...in second game, tied his high with 8 rebounds at IUPUI...led UE to a win over eventual NCAA participant Mercer scoring 15 while hitting 5-6 shots and 3 out of 4 triples...set career-high with 18 points, was 6-7 from the floor and was 6-6 from the free throw line in victory over Valparaiso...scored 12 against Anderson, hit 7-8 free throws (both career marks)...posted 10 points and hit 4 out of 5 shots at Murray State...finished with 12 at Illinois State on 5-15 shooting, also had a career-best 6 assists and played 43 minutes...was secondo on the squad with 28 steals, had three at Southern Illinois and at Loyola...posted career-best 8 rebounds on three occasions, most recently at Xavier.
2012-13: Improved greatly throughout his freshman season; played in 30 games while starting ten late in the season…UE went 7-3 in the ten games that he started, including making a 3-1 run in the CollegeInsider.com Tournament…through the first 26 games of the season, did not play more than 20 minutes, but played at least 23 minutes in the final ten games and averaged four rebounds over that span…grabbed 41 rebounds in the first 26 games before rallying for 40 in the final ten games…also averaged 10.7 minutes in the first 26 games before earning his playing time in the final ten outings, averaging 25.3 minutes…top game prior to making his first start was nine points versus Miami (OH)…made first start in home game against Creighton scoring a career-high of 10 points while notching seven rebounds…tallied 8 points and 8 boards in win over Illinois State before tying his rebound mark next time out at Wright State with eight more.
At Rowan County: Lettered in basketball and football in all four years at Rowan...named First Team All-State in 2011-12...was a First Team All-Region player in three years while making the First Team All-District squad in all four years while garnering a pair of MVP honors...nominated for Kentucky’s Mr. Basketball award, one of only five players in the state...led Rowan to state championship game as a junior where he tallied 31 points and 13 rebounds while hitting 7-of-8 three-pointers.
