2008: Earned the program’s “110 Percent” Award after a strong junior season...raced among UE’s top three in six of the eight meets in which she competed...led UE and set a new personal standard in the 4K at the Mid-America Opener with a time of 16:19.43...placed ninth out of 97 runners with a personal-best 5K time of 19:46.20 at the Earl Jacoby Memorial...posted five Top 25 individual finishes on the season.

2007: Competed in all eight meets for UE as a sophomore...a consistent top-five runner for UE...set new personal records in the 4K (16:24.17-Mid-America Opener), 5K (19:48.66-UE Invitational) and 6K events (24:24.62-NCAA Great Lakes Regional)...posted three Top 15 overall finishes, including placing seventh at the Tennessee Tech Invite (20:34.63-5K) to help UE to the team title...named to the MVC and the UE Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll for her work in the classroom.

2006: Ran in six of UE’s eight meets...ran fourth for UE in the first two meets of the year...finished fourth overall in a 4K time of 17:06.42 at the Mid-America Opener...placed 37th in a season-best 5K time of 21:16.6 at the UAH/Fleet Feet Sports Cross Country Invite.

Background: A four-year standout in cross country at Barr-Reeve High School...a three-time all-state pick and four-time team MVP...a three-time semi-state participant...qualified for the 2004 state meet as an individual...a four-time all-area pick...a two-time sectional champion...posted 19 first-place finishes...a part of Barr-Reeve’s first-ever cross country team as a freshman...coached by her father, Kevin, and Mike Sluder...an exercise science major.
