Biography
2015: Capped off her college career with a strong 2015 season…each of her 5K races checked in at 20:26.3 or faster…quickest time of the season was a 19:06.67 at the MVC Championship…came home in 6th place at the Austin Peay Cross Country Festival.
2014: Rebounded from a tough sophomore season to become one of UE's most consistent runners...came home in 30th out of 132 runners at the EIU Open (20:04.59)...ran a 19:16.71 at the Greater Louisville Classic, finishing 84th out of 352...best finish was a 6th at the 5K UE Invitational where she ran a 19:13.4 before lowering that to a 19:03.06 at the MVC's.
2013: Saw action in five races as a sophomore...top time of thte season was a 19:27.35 as she finished 15th at the UE Invitational out of 80 runners...posted a 19:36.22 at the Greater Louisville Classic finishing 82nd out of 329 runners...ran a 20:20.5 to finish 28th at the Fleet Foot Invitational.
2012: Started her career at UE with a third place at the Mid-America Opener with her time of 15:09.00...ran her PR at the EIU Open as her time of 18:37.39 was good for tenth...placed 28th out of 214 at the Indiana Intercollegiate, finishing in 19:02.6...notched a 76th place effort out of 337 in the blue race at the Greater Louisville Classic...her third place at the Tennessee Tech Invitational helped UE take the team win, she finished in a time of 20:09.93...recorded her fourth top ten outing with an 8th at the UE Invitaitonal, running a 19:07.67...took 42nd at the MVC Championship (19:00)...set her PR in the 6K NCAA's running a 23:08.
Background: Lettered in cross country and track in all four years at Brighton HS...garnered several honors in cross country career including state qualifier all four years, All-State in 2009, Most Valuable Runner (2010), 200 Mile Award (2012), Shining Star Award (2009-11), All-Area Ann Arbor Team (2009-11), All-County Team (2009-11)...also took home several awards in track including: state qualifier (2009 and 2011), Most Valuable Distance Runner (2011), Shining Star Award (2009-11), BHS Top Dog Award (2010).
