Spring 2012: Notched three rounds in the 70's while failing to reach the 80's on just one occasion...tied for 21st at Butler with rounds of 87 and 88...top outing came at the Belmont Invitational where she placed 14th with an 81 before tying her season-best total of 78...tied for 37th at the MVC Championship, with two of three rounds being in the 70's...finished the year with an 84.24 stroke average.

Fall 2011: Recorded 10 rounds in the 80's over 11 played...finished with an 83.73 average, third lowest on the squad...tied fo 36th at Butler Invitational, shooting an 81 and 80...top outing was at APSU Invitational, shooting a 157 (79-78)...finished the fall with round of 81 and 84 en route to a 165 at UD Invitational.

2010-11: Played all 12 rounds in the fall...85.75 stroke average was third best among returning players...best finishes were 32nd out of 52 at SIUE Collegiate (87-87=174) and 35th of 56 at Dayton Invitational (80-86=166)...best round was 80 at Dayton and at Chris Banister Classic...averaged 90.27 in the spring to finish with an 87.91 stroke average for the entire season...best spring finish was 34th in field of 54 at BSC Ann Rhoads Invitational (89-88=177).

2009-10: UE's #4 player with an 86.88 average...played in all 24 rounds...career-low 75 came in opening round of season at Murray State Invitational...23rd in a field of 56 at rain-shortened Butler Spring Invitational (84)...59th out of 100 golfers at the EKU Lady Colonel Classic (82-82-83=247).

2008-09: The Aces’ #5 player with an 87.96 average...played in all 23 rounds...finished 24th out of 47 at the Butler Invitational (85-87=172)...shot a career low 78 in the opening round of the State Farm MVC Championship and finished 41st out of 50 (78-82-87=247)...placed 37th in the 62-player Butler Fall Invitational (85-81=166) and 58th out of 86 at the Draper Intercollegiate (84-83=167).

High School: 2008 Evansville Junior Golf Association city champion...all-Big 8 Conference player and regional qualifier for three years at Mt. Vernon High School...qualified for the state tournament in 2007...averaged 76 as a senior to set a school record, and also set Mt. Vernon High School records for the lowest 18-hole score (72) and lowest nine-hole score (33)... MVP three years in a row at Mt. Vernon.

Background: Alyssa Key...born June 23, 1989 in Evansville...daughter of Jimmy and Dena Key...has one younger brother, Sam...National Honor Society member...earned four letters in golf and two in swimming at MVHS...excellent student, majoring in communication.
