2014-15: Finished up her career at UE with the second-lowest average in program history – an 80.95…had a strong year that saw her excel in the spring as her career wound down…averaged 80.10 strokes in the fall of 2014 before turning it up in the spring, lowering her average to 78.60 in 15 rounds of play in 2015…opened up the spring with four top 12 finishes in a row…tied for ninth at the Benbow Invitational and the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate…took 12th at the Samford Intercollegiate before coming home in fourth at the Bradley Invitational…shot her season-low of 73 at Bradley.
2013-14: Played in 22 rounds in junior season while finishing second on the squad with a 79.09 average...excelled in the spring of 2014, finishing with a 78.64...improved as the fall season went along, after posting 80's in the first six rounds, shot 78 or lower in the final five...finished in the top 10 in the final two fall outings, beginning with a 7th at the Dayton Intercollegiate after posting a 153...tied career-low round on the opening day of the Braun Intercollegiate, finishing with a 72...went on to tie for 8th with a 148...picked up right where she left off int he spring, tying for 8th at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate with a 155 (her lowest tournament of the spring)...tied for 15th at the Indiana State Invite (159) before carding a 230 to take 22nd at the MVC Championship.
2012-13: Was second on the team with an 82.08 average as a sophomore; finished less than a stroke over the lowest average on the team...opened the year tying for 43rd at the Redbird Invitational...at the Butler Invitational, she tied for 26th out of 66 with a 161...improved in each of the final four rounds of the fall as she recorded a 159 to finish tied for 39th out of 91 participants at the Dayton Invitational before tying for third place in UE's home tournament, the Braun Intercollegiate...she posted two rounds of 77 to lead UE in the event...tied for 7th place in the spring opening Benbow Invitational with a 159...came in tied for 38th at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate before tying for 31st out of 60 at the IPFW Invitational...top finish of the year was a second at the UE/Butler Challenge where she finished with a 78...came in a tie for 37th at the MVC Championship.
Spring 2012: Finished with the top average in the spring for UE (80.80) while ranking third for the school year (83.67)...recorded consecutive second-place finishes while leading the Aces team to a pair of seconds at the Butler Invitational and Belmont Invitational...after finishing in a tie for 43rd in the spring opener at the Don Benbow Invitational, she took home second at Butler (75-80=155) and led the field after day one...Doyle came right back with another second at Belmont with rounds of 78 and 72, her even round of 72 in the final round on 3/27 was her top round of her freshman campaign...in one round at IU, carded an 82 to tie for 57th out of 87 participants.
Fall 2011: Saw action in all 11 fall rounds, shooting in the 70's twice and in the 80's on six occasions...finished with the fourth best average on the team with an 86.27...saw an improvement of 20 strokes between SIUE Intercollegiate and Butler Invitational, shot a 184 at SIUE before tallying a 158 (75-83) at Butler...her opening round of 75 at Butler was her season-low as she tied for 28th place...notched her second round in the 70's at APSU Invitational, notching a 79 in the second round on her way to a 162.
High School: Helped lead Chatard to its first appearance in the state finals in 2010...placed third in the Indianapolis city championship as a senior...sectional runner-up in 2010...also an outstanding basketball player...began her high school career at Hamilton Southeastern....Hamilton County golf champion in 2006 and a member of the Royals' 2008-09 state championship golf team...coaches in high school included former UE player Megan Andress.
Personal: Catherine Rose Doyle...born in Indianapolis...daughter of John and Eileen Doyle...has two brothers...major in sports communication.
