2014-15: Played all 25 rounds for the Purple Aces…was strong in the fall, posting an 86.20 average…shot her lowest round of 77 in the first round of the Dayton Fall Invitational…despite just one round of play at the Braun Intercollegiate, Hayden finished in a tie for 28th place out of 89 participants…in the spring, tied for 31st at the Bradley Invitational for her top 2015 outing.
2013-14: Had the best stretch of her career in the fall of 2013, finishing with an 81.91 average...tied for 33rd at the SIUE Intercollegiate, posting a 171...had the top finish of her career at the Dayton Intercollegiate, tying for 11th place with a 155, tied career low with a 77 in the second round of play...capped off the fall with a 163 at the Braun Intercollegiate...top spring tournament came at the Saluki Invitational where she posted a 179.
2012-13: Improved greatly as a sophomore, shooting almost four strokes under her freshman year as she finished with an 84.88...21 out of her 24 rounds were in the 80's...posted a tie for 21st at the SIUE Intercollegiate with a 171...tied for 40th out of 66 as her season-low round of 77 helped her to a 163 at the Butler Invitational, it was her lowest 2-round total of the season...completed the fall with a 173 to tie for 57th at the Braun Intercollegiate...began the spring by tying for 34th at the Benbow Invitational...carded a 167 to tie for 45th/72 at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate...followed that up with a 168 to place 46th at the IPFW Invitational...posted a top ten finish at the UE/Butler Challenge as her 82 tied for 8th place...finished in 36th at the MVC Championship.
Spring 2012: Completed freshman season with an average round of 88.19...shot a pair of rounds in the 80's (89-86) at the Don Benbow Invitational to begin the spring...low round of spring came in the second and final one at Belmont where she tallied an 83 en route to a 37th-place outing...tied for 69th in the single-round IU Invitational after notching an 84.
Fall 2011: Averaged an 86.91 in first fall at UE while playing in each of the 11 rounds...tied for 37th place at SIUE (94-90)...top outing was at APSU Invitational where she shot a season-low 79 in second round before finishing with a 162 (83-79)...was honored as the Indiana Golf Foundation Mountain Dew Tour 2011 Girls Player of the Year in Indianapolis at the Indiana Golf Foundation Hall of Fame Banquet.
High School: Reached final 16 in Indiana Girls State Junior Championship in June, 2011...2010 IHSAA Mental Attitude Award winner, medalist at the IHSAA Regional, and a four-time state finalist for Evansville Memorial, coached by former UE player Jenny Effinger Koch...seven-time Evansville Junior Golfer of the Year, and a four-time All-Southern Indiana Athletic Conference selection... won the 2009 Evansville high school city tournament and earned all-state honors from the Indiana Golf Coaches Association.
Personal: Dana Leanne Hayden...only child of Daniel and Donna Hayden...outstanding student who earned Environmental Science Award at Memorial...expects to major in sports management.
