Went six straight games without allowing a run ... Picked up his lone collegiate win against Belmont (5-02-18), tossing three innings of shutout work while striking out three batters.

2017: Made 22 appearances in his first year with the Purple Aces, all in a relief role ... Posted ten shutout appearances  Racked up 23 innings pitched ... Posted a 9.00 ERA ... allowed 31 runs, 23 earned on 30 hits ... Struck out 12, while walking 28 ... Opposing hitters batted at a .291 clip against Porterfield ... Best performance came against Milwaukee (March 5) going 2 1/3 innings (his longest career outing), striking out 3. 

JUCO: Pitched 88.0 innings over two seasons for Iowa Lakes Community College … Impressed as a freshman, posting a 3.21 earned run average with a 6-2 record on the mound … Struck out 37 in 42 innings of work … Fanned 59 in 46 innings as a sophomore, but went 1-6 overall with an 8.61 ERA.
