2006 - Backed up Whitney Raeon during the regular season, playing only against Troy in a 7-0 victory...will compete with freshman Theresa Bagby for the starting assignment in 2007.

2005 - Played in one match, backing up Rayna Post and Whitney Raeon most of the season...played one half in UE's 2-0 shutout win over IUPUI...also played 45 minutes in both exhibition games, against St. Louis and USI.

2004 - Gained valuable experience, starting in the first five matches of her collegiate career...picked up her first victory October 22 against IPFW by playing the second half in Evansville's 4-3 victory...quick, athletic keeper who proved to be a good leader on the field.

High School/Club - Member of the national power Busch Soccer Club...very athletic, poised player...posted 35 career shutouts.

Personal - Jessica Maureen Sumner...born Feb. 27, 1986 in Dallas, Texas...daughter of Alan and Janet Sumner...has one older brother and one older sister...majoring in movement science.

Why UE? - "I really liked the atmosphere and the people.  The soccer team and coaches are great."
