2007 – Missouri Valley Conference All-Freshman Team selection, along with teammates Sara Ornelas and Theresa Bagby...versatile player who could be a defender or forward in 2008...played in 15 matches as a freshman, with starts against DePaul as a midfielder and against UAB as a forward...aggressive player with good speed and skills...became one of the top reserves on the 2007 squad.

High School/Club – Played for Slammers FC South, which won USYA national championships in 2003 and 2005...also played for Slammers FC North...member of CIF all-state team...played all over the field in high school, and earned Offensive MVP and Defensive MVP awards at Huntington Beach...U.S. Marine Corp Distinguished Athlete, first team all-Sunset League, and high school MVP.

Personal – Kristin Maria Thuve...born Oct. 24, 1988 in Riverside, California...daughter of Matthew and Patricia Thuve...has three older brothers...expects to major in business administration.
