2009 – Saw action off the bench in five matches, against Creighton, Murray State, Morehead State, Western Kentucky and Southeast Missouri....good speed, strong technically.

2008 – Reserve midfielder who got into October matches against Indiana State and Northern Iowa.

2007 – Saw playing time in 12 of the team’s 18 matches...primarily an attacking player from her outside midfielder position.

2006 – Redshirted in the fall...came back to play in the spring, 2007 season and showed good ball skills as a midfielder.

High School/Club – Helped lead Vardar club team to two state cup championships, #16 national ranking, and second place in the Midwest Regional League...all-state and all-region as a senior at Adams...three-time all-conference and all-district selection...Michigan ODP member for five years.

Personal – Susan Marie Szafir...born May 12, 1988 in Toledo, Ohio...daughter of Chuck and Pat Szafir...has one older brother and one older sister...excellent student who for three consecutive years has earned the MVC Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award for maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or better for two consecutive semesters...academic major is exercise science.
