Biography
Prior to UE: Maria joins the UE tennis team after having a strong high school career in Illinois...Marie played four years and was successful in winning a sectional championship and making the final 8 in state championship play...she has also shown leadership and athletic skills, having been elected team captain her senior year and being awarded the Buffalo Wild Wings Athlete of the Month on two occasions...Marie played in her first collegiate tournament in Cincinnati and had a successful debut.
Personal: Marie has been accepted into the Physical Therapy program and intends to major in Exercise Science...she is the daughter of Irina and Yevgeniy Kapelevich and has a brother and sister.
