Fall 2009: Finished 2-1 at the Aces Fall Classic in Flight 7...went 2-0 in Flight 7 singles at the IPFW Invitational..had a fall record of 4-5 in singles and in 3-1 doubles.

2008-09: Finished 2-1 in Flight D singles play at the Aces Fall Classic...won the Flight 9 championship at the IPFW Tournament...finished fifth in Flight 7 singles at the MVC?Individual Championships...finished with a 9-4 combined record for the fall...finished the spring with a 4-3 record at No. three doubles with Stephanie Millis…played in two singles matches…had one of two wins over Murray State in the opening match of the spring..named a ITA Scholar-Athlete for her academic work throughout the 08-09 campaign.

2007-08: Joined the team after Christmas and redshirted to recover from an injury.

High School: Chosen as Most Improved Player and Best Mental Toughness Player at Jasper High School...helped lead perennial tennis power Jasper to Indiana high school state semifinals as a junior...sat out most of her senior year with an injury after playing well in summer competition...competed well against a number of the region's best players while in high school.

Personal: Payal Pravez Sharma...born January 14, 1990 in Chicago, Ill...daughter of Pravez and Shina Sharma...has one younger sister, Priyal...expects to major in exercise science.
