Biography

Fall 2008: Finished 1-1 in singles play at the Aces Fall Classic, falling in the semifinals to Jemma Euers of Eastern Kentucky...finished 4-5 in doubles play for the fall.

2007-08: Earned two singles wins and a doubles victory in the C Flight of the season-opening Aces Fall Classic...played well but lost close singles and doubles matches to Northern Iowa at the State Farm MVC Individual Championships in late September.

2006-2007: Finished 3-0 with partner Allie Cox to win number three doubles in the Aces Fall Classic losing just six games in three matches...had a 5-4 doubles record...won her opening singles match of the fall season by topping Eastern Illinois opponent 8-1...helped UE win a round robin doubles tournament in the Windy City Invite by defeating Ferris State with teammate Allison Cox.

2005-2006: 
Progressed from number five singles to four, and eventually to three at the end of the spring season...played number two doubles, and moved up to number one late in the year, teaming with Allison Cox...won four straight singles matches in the spring, and four straight in doubles despite being paired with three different teammates...started the fall season strong, winning the Aces Fall Classic in Flight C...finished second in Flight B doubles with Emily Krodel at Aces Fall Classic...reached the championship round in Flight B singles at the Chicago State Invitational.

High School:  Second team all-state at Center Grove...played for the Midwest Region in zone competition in 2004 at Wake Forest University...academic all-state senior year, all-state honorable mention four years...played number one singles four years... Johnson County player of the year for three years.

Personal:  Stephanie Millis...born in Greenwood, Indiana...daughter of Mark and Karin Millis...majoring in Health Services Administration.

Why UE? “I came to UE because the academics are challenging, the campus is small, and I had the opportunity to play Division I tennis with awesome girls and great coaches.”
