2022
  • All-time UE program leader with 1,911 kills
  • Her kill total is the 4th-highest in Missouri Valley Conference history
  • Set the Purple Aces record with 5,459 career attempts (2nd in MVC history)
  • Completed her UE career 5th in the program record book withy 1,561 digs and 2nd with 499 games played
  • Earned All-MVC First Team accolades for the third time in her career
  • Paced the MVC with 4.61 kills per set while ranking second with an average of 5.04 points per set
  • Season-high of 31 kills versus Missouri State was the most by any player in the MVC in 2022
  • Was a 2-time MVC Player of the Week (8/29 and 10/31)
  • Season average of 4.61 kills was 8th in the nation
  • Registered 25 kills in MVC Championship victory over Southern Illinois

Fall 2021:
  • Named to All-MVC First Team for the second time in her career
  • Set the UE single-season kills record with 494 (led the MVC and was 15th in the NCAA)
  • Paced the MVC with 4.22 kills per set, ranking 32nd in the nation
  • Other national rankings included total kills (15th), total points (15th), total attacks (22nd), points per set (29th) and service aces (59th)
  • MVC leader with 4.86 points per set while ranking 3rd in service aces, 12th in hitting and 15th in digs
  • Two-time MVC Player of the Week (8/30 and 9/20)
  • MVP of the PFW Invitational and the Dunn Hospitality Tournament while earning All-Tournament accolades at the Miami Ohio Invitational and Eagle Challenge
  • Posted season highs with 31 kills and 81 attempts in home match versus UNI
  • Posted four aces in opening-day win over Kent State
  • Had season mark of six blocks in win over Purdue Fort Wayne

Spring 2021:
  • First Team All-MVC performer
  • Led the NCAA with 14.13 attacks per set while pacing the Missouri Valley Conference and ranking 16th in the country with 4.43 kills per game
  • Her 1,060 total attacks was 6th in the nation
  • With a total of 332 kills, Vazquez was third in the MVC and 21st in the NCAA
  • Set career highs with 32 kills and 32 digs in opener at Drake; it is believed to be the first 32-kill, 32-dig effort in conference history
  • Her effort was one of fewer than 10 30-kill, 30-dig instances in NCAA history and the first that the MVC has seen
  • Named the MVC Player of the Week on 3/15/21
  • Was second on the team with 3.55 digs per set
  • Registered a total of five solo blocks and 31 block assists
  • Played in all 20 matches and 75 sets

2019: Got the job done on both sides of the net, ranking third on the team with 3.27 kills per set and second with her 3.48 digs per game…played in all 117 sets…added 44 blocks, 21 assists and 17 service aces…tied career high with four block assists in opening weekend against Jackson State…her top non-conference match saw her finish with 17 kills against Eastern Illinois while adding 20 digs…had at least nine kills in 18 of the final 19 matches of the season…chipped in performances of 21 and 22 digs in the opening weekend of MVC play at UNI and Drake…in home contest against Missouri State, set career high with 29 kills while hitting .364…her top defensive effort of the year was a 24-dig game at home against Southern Illinois…tied her mark with four block assists against Drake and SIU.

2018: Named to MVC All-Freshman Team in 2018 while garnering MVC Freshman of the Week honors on November 19…had 218 kills and averaged 2.56 per set in inaugural college campaign…notched 262 digs, an average of 3.08 per set…was third on the team with 21 service aces…top college outing came in 3-2 win over UNI with 25 kills while hitting .279…added 19 assists with five coming against Bradley…top tally of three service aces came in home game against Indiana State…notched double figure digs in final seven matches including career mark of 25 against UNI…two of her three solo blocks came in season finale against Drake…started each match from September 11 through the end of the season.

Prior to UE: Vazquez also comes to Evansville from Puerto Rico.  She is in outside hitter.  Since 2017, Vazquez has been a member of the Puerto Rico Junior National Team.  In the High School National Championships last season, she earned the awards for best attacker and best passer.  Vazquez helped her team win the 2017 Jeep National Championship and earned MVP honors in the tournament.  Her squads won a pair of Junior High School National Championships (2014 and 2016) while earning a Club National Championship in 2015 and a High School National Championship in 2017.

Personal: Daughter of Jose Vazquez and Sonia Rivers...has a sister Enilaine...finished with a 3.44 GPA at Academia Discipulos De Cristo...is majoring in Exercise Science at UE.
