Major: Electrical Engineering

2019:
Earned a spot on the All-MVC Second Team…finished the season with a program record 704 digs…that total was 5th in the nation and led the MVC…she is one of just seven players in league history to record 700+ digs in a single season…set the UE program mark with 46 digs on Oct. 25 against Drake; that total was the second-highest in the history of the MVC and was the most in the NCAA in a 5-set match in 2019…averaged 6.02 digs per set overall but upped her game to 6.65/frame in conference outings…that was 0.95 more than anyone else in MVC contests while her total of 472 digs in league play was 90 more than anyone else…earned MVC Defensive Player of the Week honors on three occasions…recorded 10+ digs in all but one match in 2019…posted 20+ digs on 16 occasions…had 41 digs in Sept. 14 win over Eastern Illinois…added 34 in MVC opener against UNI…upped her game with 43 digs in just four sets at Indiana State…her program record of 46 digs came on 10/25 against Drake at Meeks Family Fieldhouse…finished her career with 23 digs in MVC Championship against Illinois State, pushing her season total above 700…led the Aces with 35 service aces, an average of 0.30 per set tying her for fifth in the Valley.

2018: Was on the floor for the first 14 sets of the season before suffering injury and missing the remainder of the year…posted three service aces against Tennessee Tech…had two kills at Western Illinois…posted four assists versus Fairleigh Dickinson…had at least 25 digs in all three matches, including 28 in win over FDU…named to Leatherneck Invitational All-Tournament Team.

2017: Was on the floor in 103 sets in first season with the Purple Aces…had 57 kills, 21 service aces, 208 digs and 12 assists…her top match came at home against Bradley as she posted 15 kills in 30 attempts, both career marks…registered eight kills in second match of the season against Manhattan, had career mark of five service aces…tallied 21 digs against Western Illinois, her season mark…recorded eight kills against Drake on 10/6…notched four service aces at Morgan State and finished the season with 0.20 per set, just outside the top ten in the MVC.

Prior to UE: Dos Santos spent her first two collegiate seasons playing at Frank Phillips College in Texas where she worked as an outside hitter and defensive specialist.  She is coming off of a strong sophomore campaign that saw her earn First-Team All-Conference honors in 2016.  As a freshman, her team was the NJCAA Conference Champion and also won the NJCAA Region IV West Championship that season.  She also brings a great work ethic in the classroom as she is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society...Made semifinal of Taça Paraná in 2015 playing for Fluminense…helped team make Semifinal and Final of Regional Tournament in 2015 playing for Frank Phillips College against Odessa…won the State Championship playing for Fluminense in 2008,2009,2011,2012…was victorious in 2014 State Championship Playing for Flamengo…in 2008, 2009, 2011 – earned Taça Paraná Championship playing for Fluminense…in 2014 – was Taça Paraná Runner Up playing for Flamengo…in 2011 – won Campeonato Brasileiro de Seleções Championship playing for the First Team All-State.

Personal: Daughter of Ricardo and Kelly dos Santos…has a brother Leonardo…majoring in Engineering at UE.
