2008: Played in 29 of 32 matches…named to the MVC All-Tournament team for leading the team and hitting .417 with 13 kills against Northern Iowa…third on the team, averaging 2.06 kills per set…led the team and finished eighth in the MVC with 26 service aces…averaged .47 blocks per set…hit .300 or better in seven matches… named to the all-tournament team at Holly Young Invitational…had six aces against SIUE (9/10)…hit a match-high .417 with 12 kills against Bradley (10/31)…posted a season-high 15 kills and six digs at Illinois State to end the regular season (11/22)…tallied a season-high five block assists against Missouri State and Wichita State.

2007: Appeared in 23 of 30 matches and 74 games...finished third on the team with 2.43 kills per game and 596 total attempts... recorded four solo blocks and 44 block assists on the season...hit her season-best .562 against Drake (10/6)...tallied a career-high 19 kills against Duquesne (8/24)...had 15 digs in a match at Wichita State (9/28)...had eight matches with double-digit kills.

At Kansas State: Played one season at Kansas State University as an outside hitter...played in 80 games...had eight matches with a .300 or better hitting percentage...registered seven matches with 10 or more kills...dropped in at least one service ace in five matches...tallied a career-high 14 kills on a .367 hitting percentage and five total blocks in her collegiate debut.
At Riga 45 High School: Lettered in both volleyball and track and field...named best player at the 2004 Latvia Championships...was also the MVP of the 2003 Baltic Cup.

Personal: Daughter of Gunars and Rita Gabruseva...born November 18, 1986...has one older sister, Gunta...majoring in communications.
