2006:  Played in 118 of team's 119 games and all 30 matches...finished first on the team with 2.81 kills per game and a .229 attack percentage and was second in points per game at 3.08...18th in MVC play with 2.83 kills per game...recorded a career-high 25 kills vs. IUPUI (9/31)...had 19 matches with double-digit kills...posted a double with 17 kills and 15 digs in final home match against Creighton (11/18).

2005:   Redshirted the 2005 season after having shoulder surgery.

2004:   Led UE with 360 kills, a .212 attack percentage and 3.30 kills per game...Second on the team with 71 blocks...Tied for fifth in the MVC in kills...Sixth in the MVC in kills per game...Had a career-high 21 kills in a win over Austin Peay (9/7)...Posted 19 kills and a season-high .457 attack percentage in a win over Bradley (10/8)...Named to the Nike/Comfort Suites All-Tournament team.

2003:  Named to the 2003 MVC All-Freshman Team...Played and started in 29 matches...Led UE with a .231 attack percentage...Ranked third on the team with 2.53 kills per game...Hit .515 (20-3-33) with a season-high 20 kills vs. Illinois State (10/11)...Also hit .472 (20-3-36) with 20 kills at SIU (10/18)...Second on the team with 86 total blocks.

At New Castle Chrysler: A two-year starter and three-year letterwinner at middle hitter for national powerhouse New Castle Chysler...Led Chrysler in both blocking and hitting percentage as a senior...An honorable mention All-North Central Conference selection as a senior, a high honor considering two NCC teams were in the nation's Top 25 (Chrysler and Muncie Central)...Also a four-year letterwinner in basketball and three-time team MVP...Played club volleyball for the Munciana Tigers...Played high school volleyball for John Shondell.

Personal: Daughter of Rodney and Claudia Spurlock...Born August 8, 1984 in Muncie, Indiana...Has a younger brother, Timothy, and an older sister, Jaclyn...Majoring in secondary education.

Why UE?:  I chose to come to Evansville because I like the coaching staff and feel that they can help me improve.  Evansville has a great campus and it really is just the right size for me.
