Logan Belz joined the University of Evansville Athletics Department as the Associate Athletics Director for Revenue Generation in June of 2022. Belz primary responsibility is to develop and execute strategies for revenue generation, foster relationships with constituents, while serving as sports administrator for the Aces baseball team.
Since arriving in the River City in 2022, Belz has helped to generate more than $3 million in ticket revenue, setting numerous records across his time in Evansville.
Belz has also led the efforts in conjunction with the athletics marketing team in breaking revenue and assisted with attendance records across all 7 ticketed sports.
In 2025, Belz helped implement the Aces Halfpot in which grossed over $40,000 in extra revenue to the athletics department in the first year and spearheaded the initiative in bringing the Aces Halfpot eCommerce to allow a more efficient purchasing process in 2026.
Belz has also helped to modernize the ticketing operations of the University of Evansvile athletics ticket office upgrading the on-campus ticket system to Arctics for men's basketball and partnering with vivenu for all on-campus ticketed sports.
Prior to the 2025 Aces Men's Basketball season, Belz worked to re-establish Education Day for UE Men’s Basketball and partnered with EVSC to bring over 3,000 elementary & middle school kids to an aces game annually.
To aid the University's overall mission, Belz established our Aces giveback program where the ticket office donates tickets to 501c3 organziations in the community of Evansville and surrounding areas where families in need can come and enjoy an aces athletics game for free, many for the first time.
He has also successfully managed and sustained the Aces baseball program's success as sport administrator in conjunction with Head Coach Wes Carroll to continue help our program be at the top half of the MVC.
Belz joins the Aces program from Cal State Bakersfield where he worked for Siegfried during his tenure with the Roadrunners. Most recently, Belz was the Assistant Athletics Director for Special Projects. He joined the department in July of 2015 and held other positions in revenue generation, ticketing and operations. While at CSU Bakersfield, Belz broke revenue records and CSUB saw an all-time high for season and group tickets for all eight ticketed sports.
He also spearheaded many gameday fan engagement projects that resulted in sell outs for different sporting events. Those projects included Men’s Basketball Education Day, Men’s Basketball Agriculture Night and “Runners On The Road” bus trips to different contests. He also assisted in fundraising for numerous sport specific fundraisers such as Hot Stove, which benefited CSUBs baseball program, Evening with Coach Rod Barnes, which benefited the Men’s Basketball program, the Tip-Off Luncheon, which benefited both basketball programs, and Brains of Bakersfield, which benefited the Men’s Soccer program.
His efforts were equally impressive in women’s sports at CSUB. He led initiatives that broke ticket revenue and attendance records in tickets sports that included women’s basketball, softball, women’s soccer and volleyball. Multiple community initiatives were introduced that connected the Bakersfield community to the programs.
Before making the move to Bakersfield, Belz worked at the University of Memphis as an Athletics Development Assistant. He assisted with the 901 campaign that helped to steward new members and donors while contributing in multiple facets of managing gameday operations for the development staff.
His first position in California came at UC Berkeley where he worked from 2013-14 as a Development Assistant/Event Ambassador for the Cal Alumni Association while serving the Golden Bears’ Athletics Department as an Olympic Sport Operations Assistant.
As a student at Memphis, Belz was the Head Manager for the men’s basketball team for over two seasons. He earned a BS in Sports and Leisure Management from Memphis in 2014 before obtaining his Master of Public Administration (MPA) from CSU Bakersfield in 2017.
