University of Evansville senior forward Cory Elenio helped lead the Aces to two more victories last week, and as a result he is the Brine Missouri Valley Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. Elenio came up with what is believed to be the quickest hat trick in school history at Lipscomb in Evansville's 9-0 triumph on Wednesday. He scored at 31:33, 35:09 and 44:39 to put the Aces up 6-0 at halftime. Elenio scored the game-winner in the 68th minute Saturday night at Missouri State as Evansville won 2-1 to send the Aces into third place in the MVC.

At 3-2-0 in the MVC, the Aces are still in contention for the regular season championship going into the final game of the regular season. An Evansville victory at home Saturday on Senior Night over second place Creighton coupled with a Western Kentucky win at first place Bradley on Saturday would give UE the regular season title. No matter what happens in league play Saturday, Evansville will go into the Nov. 14-18 State Farm MVC Tournament as the number four seed or higher.
