The University of Evansville swim and dive team will make its last road trip and last meet of the regular season to Southern Illinois on Saturday. The meet is set to begin at noon. 

Following a loss Friday to Missouri State, UE celebrated a victory on senior night in a triangular meet against Rose-Hulman and Vincennes University. Senior Nicole Uhrin led the women with wins in the 200 fly and 500 free. Senior Phil Lubbehusen and Junior James Nash had two wins each for the men. Lubbehusen picked up the win in the 50 free and the 100 breast, while Nash won the 200 IM and 100 back.

Nine seniors were honored at the meet including Taryn Brelage, Zach Brown, Melissa Claycomb, Ashli Heck, Geoff Keller, Phil Lubbehusen, Nicole Uhrin, Colleen Ward, and Jeff Yoder.

Following Saturday’s meet, the women will travel back to Carbondale, Ill. for the MVC Championships held Feb. 14-16.  The SBC Championships for the men will be Feb. 28-Mar. 1 in Nashville, Tenn.
