EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Last week, University of Evansville diver Levi McKinney completed a stellar comeback season for the Purple Aces. McKinney was at Jones Natatorium in Ypsilanti, Mich. for the 2026 NCAA Zone C Diving Championship.

McKinney competed in both the 1M and 3M dives during the meet. He took 30
th place in the 1-meter with a score of 270.95 while coming in 39
th with a 273.65 in the 3-meter event as he competed against some of the top competition in the nation.

His performance completes a stellar season with multiple highlights. On January 10, McKinney set the 1-meter program record in a meet against Southern Illinois and Indiana State. His score of 335.80 reset the Aces mark. This came a day after he broke his own program record in the 3-meter dive. Taking on UIC, McKinney recorded a score of 336.83 to break his nark of 320.65, which was set in December of 2025.

Following those performance, McKinney was tabbed as the Missouri Valley Conference Diver of the Week. Earlier this month, McKinney earned All-MVC Honorable Mention accolades. He earned finishes of 7
th place in the finals of both the 1M and 3M dives. Â
