EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Set to begin his first season at the helm of the University of Evansville swimming and diving programs, head coach Canaan Campbell has announced eight signees who will join the Purple Aces for the 2026-27 season.

"We are so fired up to welcome this crew to the Purple Aces Family," Campbell said. "Each one of these student-athletes brings a competitive fire to the classroom and to the pool. Watch for their awesome development over the course of their careers at UE. We can't wait to welcome them in the fall!"

Four men and four women comprise the class. Information on each signee along with a comment from Coach Campbell is included below.

WOMEN

Lily Clark, Carmel, Indiana/Wagner College, FR

"Lily brings a consistent energy in all things she does. We are very excited to see how she impacts our programs in and out of the pool"

Isabella Ludvigsen, Lynge, Denmark/Southwestern Oregon Community College, FR

"Isabella has improved rapidly over the last few months and we are excited to see how she continues that trajectory in all aspects of her life!"

Ella Schirtzinger, Newark, Ohio/St. Peters University, Distance FR

"Ella brings some great college swimming experience after her freshman year at St. Peters University. We are excited to see how she impacts on our distance free training group!"

Brooke Shadduck, St. Louis, Missouri/California Baptist University, IM/BR/BK

"Brooke's versatility is going to be really fun to work with as she can plug in many different spots. After coaching Brooke during her club swimming days, I am excited to see how she continues to grow at the collegiate level!"

 

MEN
