EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Colton Tang, a native of Newburgh, Ind., has been named the graduate assistant for the University of Evansville Swimming and Diving program.

"His connection to the local swimming community and experience as a collegiate team captain will be a tremendous asset to our program. Can't wait to get to work!"

Tang brings a wealth of experience to the UE program along with a familiarity with the Tri-State area. After competing for the swim team at Castle High School, Tang continued his career at the University of Southern Indiana. He competed primarily as a sprinter for the Screaming Eagles while serving as a team captain.

He graduated from USI in 2026 with a bachelor's degree in health services administration and a minor in Sports Management.

In addition to his role as a graduate assistant, he currently teaches swim lessons locally at Gold Medal Swim Academy while pursuing his master's degree at UE.
