The busiest week so far this season for the University of Evansville men's soccer team wraps up Sunday when the 7-3-0 Purple Aces host 4-5-1 Lipscomb University at 2:00 at Black Beauty Field.
Sunday's match will be the third in six days for the Aces, who lost 3-2 in overtime Tuesday to 16th ranked Indiana and won 1-0 Friday at Western Illinois on Tom Irvin's goal in the 65th minute. All three losses have come to teams that are or have been ranked nationally. UE's 7-3-0 start is its best since the 1996 team started out 8-2-0 on its way to qualifying for the NCAA Tournament. Lipscomb has lost just once in its last five matches, and is coming off a 1-1 tie Friday against Belmont.
