CALERA, Ala.—The University of Evansville team finished in a tie for fifth place at the 14-team Ann Rhoads/Birmingham Southern Shootout at Timberline Golf Course Tuesday afternoon.

Maggie Wood was the top finisher for the Aces. The freshman finished 15th shot 160 over in 36 holes over the two days. Vandi Gooch finished 21st out of 84 golfers. Crissy Higgins and Katie Shoener tied for 30th at 165 and Danielle Wolter finished in 48th place at 171.
