The University of Evansville women’s basketball program will conduct a Mighty Mights Camp for kids in kindergarten through third grade and a Day Camp for kids in grades 3-8 this June at the UE Carson Center.  Read below to find out more information on the various camps.  To sign up for a camp, please contact the UE women's basketball office by phone at (812) 488-2289 or print off the above camp brochure.

Session I--Mighty Mights Camp
June 2-5, Monday – Thursday
9:00 a.m. to 12 noon

For girls entering Kindergarten through Grade 3

An introduction to the game of basketball for young girls, this half-day camp provides basic instruction on the fundamentals of basketball.  Lowered basketball rims provide campers with opportunities to be successful with new skills.  UE staff members and players are the camp counselors.

A preregistration fee of $25 is required by May 26 to reserve a spot.  Registration after May 26 requires full payment.  The fee includes all instruction, a camp T-shirt, and a basketball.  A mid-morning snack will also be provided. 

Check-In:  Monday, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Session II--Day Camp
June 23-27, Monday – Friday
9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

This camp is for girls entering grades 3-8.

The day camp provides basic instruction on the fundamentals of basketball in a fun, enthusiastic atmosphere.  UE staff members and players are camp counselors for this camp.  A preregistration fee of $25 is required by June 9 to reserve a spot.  Registration after June 9 requires full payment.  The fee includes all instruction, a camp T-shirt and a basketball.

Friday will be a half day, ending at noon.  Awards will be announced at 11:40 a.m.

Campers must bring their own lunch.

Check-in:  Monday, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
