With the last eight games being cancelled for inclement weather, the University of Evansville softball team has added a doubleheader at Middle Tennessee State to its 2008 schedule. The Aces will travel to Murfreesboro, Tenn. on Thursday to play the two games beginning at 2 p.m.

Sophomore Krista Price leads all Aces’ hitters at the plate with a .380 average. She also leads the team in hits (19), RBI (13), and runs scored (18). Sophomore Jennifer McKee leads the Aces with five wins in the circle. McKee has a 1.58 earned run average with opponents hitting just .208 off of the right-hander.

Following Thursday’s games, the Aces will return home for their home opener on Saturday. The Aces will host Missouri Valley opponent Drake for a three-game series. The Aces will play a doubleheader on Saturday and a single game on Sunday. First-pitch is scheduled for noon both days.
