Kyle Reddington was named this week's Missouri Valley Golfer of the Week for his performance at the Butler Spring Invitational at Prestwick Golf Course in Avon, Indiana this week.

The University of Evansville men’s golf team won a tournament title at the Butler Spring Invitational behind a stellar performance by UE senior Kyle Reddington. The team title was the first for UE since the 2005 Greg Palmer Eagle Classic.

Reddington’s first-round score of 71 was the second-best of the day. With cold temperatures affecting play in the second round, Reddington carded a second-round low 74. Reddington won the tournament with a two-round total of 145. With the win this week and a win in 2006, Reddington becomes the first two-time medalist since 1995 at UE.

The Aces will return to action at the Hoosier Invitational on Saturday at Indiana University Golf Course in Bloomington, Indiana.
