RICHMOND, Ky.—The University of Evansville women’s golf team finished fourth at the Eastern Kentucky University Spring Invitational on Saturday. Eastern Michigan won the event in the seven-team field.
Crissy Higgins was the top finisher for the Aces. She carded rounds of 81 and 75 for a two-round score of 156 to finish seventh. Maggie Wood finished in the top 10 with rounds of 78 and 79 to finish 10th. Vandi Gooch shot rounds of 77 and 85 to finish 22nd. Helen Cuffe finished 27th and Danielle Wolter finished 42nd on the day in the field of 44. Katie Shoener shot as an individual and finished 17th with rounds of 80 and 79 on the par-72 course.
The Aces will conclude their season at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships from April 13-15 in Omaha, Neb.
