Maria Eftink, assistant director for external affairs in the athletics department at the University of Evansville, has been promoted to Assistant Athletics Director-External Affairs.  She will work closely with corporate sponsors and community groups.

Eftink initially came to UE last year as an external affairs intern before moving into a full-time position in the department.  She has a bachelor's degree from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, where she played volleyball and basketball, and a master's degree in higher education from Southeast Missouri State University.
