Former University of Evansville soccer standout Cory Elenio continues to pile up minutes with the MLS Columbus Crew.
Elenio played 80 minutes Sunday in the Crew's friendly with West Ham United, assisting on the Crew's lone goal and just missing a goal of his own when his shot hit both the post and the crossbar.
Elenio earned all-region and all-Missouri Valley Conference honors last season in his senior year at the University of Evansville. He led the Aces in scoring with seven goals and nine assists for 23 points. He ranked among the nation's top 25 in assists.
