EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Evansville softball team will host the Indiana State Sycamores in a doubleheader at Cooper Stadium on Saturday.

The Aces began their fall slate with two wins last weekend. The Aces knocked off Wabash Valley, 1-0, and won the second game 2-1 over Heartland Community College. Freshman Kylie Wagner picked up wins in both games, combining for five scoreless innings and three strikeouts. Senior Kristen Shirk was the offensive hero of the day, scoring the winning run in the opening game and hit an RBI double in the second game.

The first game of the doubleheader between the Aces and Sycamores will begin at noon at Cooper Stadium.
