Head coach Marty Simmons, his staff and players are preparing for two special events in early October, including the Aces Basketball Academy on October 4 and the Meet The Aces/Alumni Golf Outing on October 10. Sign-up forms are available at the top of this page in PDF form.

The Aces Basketball Academy will take place at Carson Center on the UE campus from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, October 4, and is open to all boys in the first through eighth grades. The academy is designed to teach players the offensive and defensive fundamentals of the game in a fun, motivational atmosphere. Cost is $50, and each boy will receive a free basketball and two tickets to an upcoming game. Instructors will include the UE coaching staff and all 14 players.

The Meet The Aces/Alumni Golf Outing will take place at Cambridge Golf Club on Evansville's north side on Friday, October 10. Cost is $150. Golf will start at 12 noon, and dinner will be served in the Cambridge Dining Room afterward. Coach Simmons will introduce his staff and players at the dinner, and talk about the upcoming season.
