They may be young, but University of Evansville freshman Tyler Crawford and sophomore Mike Luttrull have wasted no time in climbing to the top of the national statistics in Division I men's soccer.

Crawford is ranked number one nationally in assists with four in three matches, according to statistics released today by the NCAA. Luttrull ranks fourth in the nation in total points with nine (four goals, one assist), and fifth in goals scored. Luttrull scored two goals, and Crawford provided an assist on Evansville's other goal, in Sunday's 3-2 victory over Butler.

The Aces are off to a 3-0-0 start, their best since 2002. They play North Florida Friday and Valparaiso Sunday in the annual ProRehab Aces Soccer Classic at Black Beauty Field.
