The University of Evansville men's soccer team continues to climb in the Soccer Times national poll, receiving 17 Top 25 votes this week. In addition, UE cracked this week's Adidas/NSCAA national poll by receiving five Top 25 votes.

Coach Mike Jacobs' Aces are ranked 31st overall in the Soccer Times poll, just behind Michigan (19 votes) and ahead of number 32 Seton Hall and Stanford (7 votes each). They are 38th in the Adidas/NSCAA poll.

After getting two Top 25 votes in the first week of the Soccer Times poll, the Aces added 15 to their total after defeating Butler 3-2 on Sunday to improve their record to 3-0-0. Evansville plays North Florida Friday and Valparaiso Sunday in the annual ProRehab Aces Soccer Classic.

A number of upcoming UE opponents are ranked in both polls, led by Missouri Valley Conference rival Creighton at number two in the Soccer Times poll and number three in Adidas. Other teams on Evansville's schedule include Maryland (7 Soccer Times, 8 Adidas), Cal-Santa Barbara (8/13), Bradley (25/27), and three others that joined UE in the Others Receiving Votes category--Cal Poly (both polls), Western Illinois (Soccer Times) and Drake (Soccer Times).
