The University of Evansville softball team will be holding several clinics at the Armory located next to the Aces baseball and softball stadiums on November 28, November 29, December 2 and December 5 for grades 4-12.
The purple division, grades 4-5, will be instructed on Saturday, November 28. The orange division, grades 6-8, will be on Sunday, November 29, and the black division, grades 9-12 will have two options to select from – Wednesday, December 2, or Saturday, December 5. Each position clinic will be an hour and a half long in length. These clinics will be: pitching/catching, hitting and defense.
The cost will be $45 per clinic session or $105 for all three. There will only be 40 spaces available per clinic, and no walk-ups will be accepted. Registration forms can be found by

The Aces’ pitching/catching clinic will help campers with the mental and physical part of pitching. They will be instructed on pitches, grips, spins and control. The campers will work on speed enhancement drills as well.
The hitting clinic will begin after the pitching/catching. Campers will learn the mechanics and break down of a swing, hitting drills, and also about hitting philosophy.
The defense clinic will consist of positional work as well as infield/outfield drills. The campers will receive instruction on throwing mechanics and general defensive drills.
