Day Four Results
NASHVILLE, Tenn.—The University of Evansville men’s swimming and diving team concluded action at the 2009 Sun Belt Conference Championships in Nashville, Tenn. on Saturday evening.
The University of Denver won the event with 1226 points followed by Missouri State with 1172.5, Western Kentucky with 1064.5, Eastern Michigan with 1046.5, Southern Illinois with 734, University of Buffalo with 639.5, Miami of Ohio with 588, University of New Orleans with 552.5, Florida Atlantic with 446.5, Ball State with 267, and UE with 207.
James Nash had the highest finish of the championships for the Aces' swim team with a 16th place finish in the 100 free. Freshman Bryan Hamann had two of the Aces’ top finishes during the final day with a 29th place finish in the 200 fly and a 31st place finish in the1650 free. Colin Gray finished 26th in the 200 breast, and Jacob Harrington rounded out the top finishers with a 35th place finish in the 200 back.
The 400 free relay team of Harrington, Chris Nash, Brad Tipton, and James Nash finished seventh in the final event of the day.
