After an hour and 10 minute wait, Lucy Himstedt and Jeff Marshall were the big winners on Saturday at the first-ever University of Evansville Women’s Basketball Cow Drop, sponsored by F.C. Tucker Emge Realtors.
Himstedt was the overall winner, as her raffle ticket corresponded with the cow’s “drop box” on Saturday. Meanwhile, Marshall was the Calcutta winner, as he owned the row which was dropped in.
“We really want to thank everyone who participated in this year’s Cow Drop, especially our title sponsor F.C. Tucker Emge Realtors,” said UE head coach Misty Murphy. “I hope that everyone who came out to the drop had fun yesterday, and congratulations to Lucy and Jeff for being this year’s winners.”
The proceeds from the Cow Drop and Calcutta will go to benefit the UE women’s basketball program.
