The Aces will be busy in the month of January, as the team competes in five meets this month, including Sunday's at St. Louis.

Aces Swim & Dive Heads To St. Louis For Sunday Meet

After a holiday break and a training trip to Florida, it’s time for the University of Evansville swimming and diving team to get back to the grind, as the Aces travel to St. Louis to take on St. Louis University on Sunday, January 10 at 1:00 p.m. 

The Aces are coming off of strong performances at the Winter College Invitational in Daytona Beach, Florida, on Wednesday where the women’s team took first and the men’s team finished third.

Individually, Hannah Quast and Michea Reinitz each recorded a first and second place finish for the Purple Aces. Alex Howard took home a second place spot while Howard, Jill Enge, Phoebe Hodina and Alex Spata tallied third. Will Spradley also took third for the men’s side while he and Jake Harrington posted fourth places as well. Alex Seward and Derek Bifulco collected fifth in one of their events, and Wil Fernandez took sixth.

In the relays, the women’s team placed second in the 200 medley, 1500 scramble and 200 free while the men’s team finished second in the 1500 scramble and third in the 200 medley and 200 free.
