The University of Evansville women’s basketball program will conduct five different camps for girls of all ages and skill levels this summer with Misty Murphy’s Basketball Camps.

Below is a quick rundown of the Misty Murphy Basketball Camp schedule for this year:

Friday, June 4:  High Intensity Camp for players entering grades 9-12 in Fall 2010.  Camp runs 1:00-4:00 p.m. and 5:30-8:30 p.m. with a dinner break slated for 4:00-5:30.  A camp t-shirt and basketball are included with the $60 entry fee and registration begins at 12 noon on Friday at the Carson Center.

Saturday, June 5-Sunday, June 6:  Team Camp for players entering grades 9-12 in Fall 2010.  Five games consisting of two 18-minute halves are guaranteed.  Teams are allowed to have a minimum of seven players and a maximum of 12 players for the $325 team entry fee.  Registration is from 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday at UE’s Carson Center.

Monday, June 14-Wednesday, June 16:  Position Camps for players entering grades 4-12 in Fall 2010.  A Position Camp for guards from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon (with registration beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Monday), while a Position Camp for post players will run from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. (with registration beginning at 12 noon on Monday) at UE’s Carson Center.  A camp t-shirt and basketball are included in the $75 entry fee.

Tuesday, June 15-Friday, June 18:  Mighty Mights Camp for girls entering kindergarten through third grade in Fall 2010.  Mighty Mights Camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon each day at UE’s Carson Center, with registration beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday.  A camp t-shirt and basketball are included in the $85 entry fee.

Monday, June 21-Friday, June 25:  Day Camp for players entering grades 4-8 in Fall 2010.  Camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 9:00 a.m. to noon on Friday, with registration beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Monday at UE’s Carson Center.  There will be a lunch break from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. but campers must bring their own lunches.  A camp t-shirt and basketball are included in the $160 entry fee.
