The statistics were all Evansville--24-6 advantage in shots, and 12-3 advantage in corner kicks--but the result was still a scoreless draw with the Xavier Musketeers on 'Kick For The Cure Night' Friday at McCutchan Stadium.

Evansville is now 4-1-1 going into Sunday's match at Western Illinois.  Xavier is 0-2-2 and still scoreless in 2010.

The Aces completely dominated the first 30 minutes, taking eight of the game's first nine shots.  They had an 18-2 edge in shots at the end of regulation, but two big saves in the second half by Justin Marshall on shots from Mike Luttrull and Robby Lynch kept Evansville off the scoreboard.  UE goalkeeper Phil Boerger made two leaping saves himself in overtime on shots from James Getzen and Sean Ryan that appeared headed for the net.

Luttrull ended up with seven shots, including two of the four shots that Evansville put on goal.  Tom Irvin had four shots, and five others put up two each for Evansville.  Getzen, with two, was the only Musketeer with more than one shot.  Marshall finished with four saves for Xavier and Boerger two for Evansville.  It was Evansville's first scoreless tie since October of 2008.
