EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. -- University of Evansville senior Maggie Wood shot 76, the third best round among the 52 golfers Tuesday afternoon, to finish 13th overall at the SIUE Intercollegiate Women's Golf Tournament at Sunset Hills Country Club.
Chelsea Harris of Austin Peay won the individual title with rounds of 77 and 72 for 5-over-par 149. Runnerup Emily Brink of Western Illinois was the only other golfer to shoot better than Wood Tuesday, with a 74 that left her at 153. Western Illinois won the nine-team event with a score of 632. Coach Jim Hamilton's Aces finished sixth at 684.
