University of Evansville Director of Athletics John Stanley has been elected to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the I-AAA Athletic Directors Association. The Association is made up of more than 100 schools that participate in Division I athletics with the exception of football.  The organization serves to bring issues and proposals forward to the NCAA that impact I-AAA schools and their athletic programs.

"Serving on this board is a great opportunity to meet other athletic directors around the country and be involved in policy and best practices discussions for those Division I universities not participating in football," said Stanley, who has been AD at Evansville since 2007. "I am anxious to provide input and learn more about schools with similar athletic programs to UE."

Brian Quinn, director of athletics at Cal State Fullerton, is president of the I-AAA Athletic Directors Association for 2010-11.  Other officers include 1st Vice President Ken Kavanagh, director of athletics at Florida Gulf Coast University; 2nd Vice President John Suarez, director of athletics at Long Island University Brooklyn; 3rd Vice President Keith Gill, director of athletics at American University; Secretary Peg Bradley-Doppes, director of athletics at the University of Denver, and Treasurer Bob Driscoll, director of athletics at Providence College.
