EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Beginning on Monday, the Purple Aces women’s golf team will take part in the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate, which will take place at the Links at Novadell Golf Course in Hopkinsville, Ky.
 
The 36-hole tournament begins with 18 holes at 9 a.m. on Monday before an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start for the final round of 18 on Tuesday morning.
 
Evansville is coming off of a 7^th-place finish in this week’s Butler Invitational.  Senior Lauren Ellerman was the top performer, finishing in a tie for 15^th place.  Ellerman began the tournament with a first-round score of 74 before finishing with a 79 on Tuesday.
 
Sydney Skiles finished two shots behind Ellerman in a tie for 20^th place.  She led the Aces in Tuesday’s final round with a 4-over 76.
 
Austin Peay will host the event, which will feature ten teams.  Belmont, Jacksonville State, Western Kentucky, Lipscomb and Murray State are amongst the team scheduled to participate.  The team will wrap up the fall season in two weeks when they travel to the Dayton Invitational.
