VINCENNES, Ind. -- University of Evansville runners ignored the cold, windy conditions to take five of the top eight places in the 5,000-meter run Saturday in the men's division at the Bill Smith Open.

In addition, Brady Hall was ninth in the 3000M steeplechase.

Max Cordier had a strong finish and placed second in the 5000.  Here's a look at the other UE runners who finished in the top eight:

The next meet for coach Don Walters' team will take place at Washington University in St. Louis Friday and Saturday.
